If you enjoy folklore and legends, the new tvN Korean fantasy drama Tale of the Nine-Tailed should be your next addiction! Starring Lee Dong-Wook, Jo Bo-ah, Kim Bum, and Kim Yong-Ji, it’s airing from October 7, 2020, to November 26, 2020. The full season has 16 exciting episodes filled with monsters and mythological creatures around every turn. This is the perfect series for the spooky autumn season.

Tale of the Nine-Tailed explores the myth of the gumiho (the nine-tailed fox) through Lee Yeon and his relationship with TV producer Nam Ji-ah. Nam Ji-ah is working on a television show about urban legends when the two cross paths. As she tries to gain more information, the two develop a complicated and interesting relationship. Even though Lee Yeon seems emotionally detached or heartless, there may be more to him than meets the eye. Is he truly a romantic at heart?

Lee Rang, the stepbrother to Lee Yeon, is also a gumiho stalking through the human world. While Lee Yeon is cleansing souls and monitoring other gumiho to keep them in line, Lee Rang is doing the opposite. He harbors a certain hate for humankind as he goes out of his way to wreak havoc. He enjoys harming others for sport, and he even tries to get in between Lee Yeon and Nam Ji-ah.

Nam Ji-ah will have to learn to rise to the occasion and deal with situations she could only dream of now that her life is literally filled with monsters.

Filled with mythology, romance, and action, Tale of the Nine-Tailed doesn’t disappoint. In order to stay tuned for this season, watch each episode dramatically unfold on tvN each week!
